Your board has agreed upon the name Saratoga Springs Community Cemetery (SSCC) for our 501(c)3 status. We will meet Saturday, October 8, at 10:00 a.m. to allow for a vote of the general membership to cast a ballot.
We have also decided to have a membership for those people interested in the preservation of the cemetery. This way people can make contributions that are tax deductible and be a member of our organization, which will allow for a say in the goings on of the maitanence and upkeep of the cemetery.
Saratoga Springs Community Cemetery is the final resting place of those who have lived in, or have connections to, Saratoga Springs. This once booming community, located in McDonald County, MO, between Noel & Southwest City. is now only a few houses... and the cemetery. SSCC, a non-profit, has been established to provide care & maintenance of the Cemetery. Prior to 2011, local family members have assumed that responsibility. Please join us! Anyone is welcome to our Community!

Hello to Everyone! The Board that was elected at the last public meeting met at 2:00 p.m. on August 6 to draft an organizing document. We were successful! A simple document was created and will be provided to everyone who attends the meeting set for October 8, at 10:00 a.m. The meeting place will be the First Baptist Church, Southwest City, Missouri. The primary purpose of this meeting will be to adopt the created document and to discuss everyone's ideas as to the future of the cemetery.
